Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 am–9:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (315) 732-6149. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, uticapizza.com.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 1,257 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Utica.

Utica is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Utica follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Second oldest pizzeria in the United States, not your typical pizza, it's upside down, toppings and cheese underneath the sauce. Absolutely love it, every time I'm passing down the Thruway I do my best to stop and get myself a nice pie from this place. Reasonably priced, old school atmosphere, I usually get it to go, you get plenty of pizza for a large, rectangular shape, cash is cheaper than card, had a little problem getting through to them on the phone, that was my only issue. If you want a really good old school pizza, this is where you go. Often imitated but never duplicated. Even though it's almost 2 hours away from my house, I get by the area two or three times a year, and it's always on the top of places to stop at on my journeys. Pizza is really filling, I usually have a quick slice or two with a friend when I pick it up, then I bring the rest home and reheat it as needed, and tastes just as good. It would be great if they were a franchise, but honestly I don't know how that would go over and I don't think it's something they'd really want to do. I also Saw somebody order some wings, and I've never had them but they looked right, they looked correct and well made. Might tr

When you are in Utica, the first thing comes to your mind is the Italian history, culture and obviously Italian food. I will jump to food as this is how I usually my trip plans are linked to. The city is well known for its Chicken Reggie’s and Utica Green dishes, but decided to explore the pizza and it was something to share. This is an over 100 years old recipe that you can not just ignore. Everything is different from what I have been calling pizza, from the why you order, to the content, shape and presentation. I ordered a cheese pizza ( don’t dare to call it margarita they will not take your order) and mushroom , pepper ( you just name what else than cheese you want). When we reached to our room and opened the carton we could not tell which is which. They way they do their pizza that they put the items on the dough and then they add their fingers licking sauce. From your first bite you will feel all the combination that your taste buds are hunger for; the crispy bottom dough to the softer upper dough then the mild salty mozzarella cheesy and you will up with the juicy overwhelmingly tomato based sauce. The after bite feeling is grab another square and this will keeps repeating

This spot is legendary. Order at the counter, go sit down, and you'll have one of the best pizzas you've ever had. Staff is friendly, and they turned our pizza around quicker than I expected, considering they did it from scratch. You dont find this particular style of pizza very often, definitely worth a trip off the highway to check out a 100+ year continually running pizza shop.

I had a really good experience with my friends. We had a few small pizzas and fried fish sandwich. I personally had a Mozzarella and Pepperoni pizza. It tasted pretty good. I recommend this place for the large selection of food they had.

This restaurant has been around since 1914, and you can really feel the history when you walk in. The atmosphere is amazing, with old photos and images on the walls that give the place a unique character. We tried their special pizza made with mozzarella, mushrooms, peppers, tomato, onion, and garlic, and added anchovies on half β€” it was really nice. The pizza itself is very unique, especially the sauce. It has a slightly runny texture and a rich, tasty flavor. It feels like they add it at the later stage of baking, maybe after the pizza is half or three-quarters baked, which gives it a totally distinctive taste. The dough was also amazing, different from any I have had before. Both I and my son noticed right away that it was unique and delicious pizza different from any other pizza we have tried. If you are passing through town, you definitely have to try it.
